After high school I stopped sports. I always wanted to have a good body shape, workout regularly, be healthy, have a good-looking body with a flat belly.
I was super skinny before, 162cm for 47kilos. I motivate myself and workout sometimes but each month when my period comes or if I feel sick, I am just too lazy to keep doing it.
I always ate whatever I want (thanks to my mom cuisine) with no gain of weight… Until 2018, the year when i turned 25.
I moved to a new country by myself, every meal I ate by myself and I didn’t fix any limit. I know I ate more, so I also work out more (3 times a week, 2 hours each session).
Hometown: Paris, France | currently living in Taipei, Taiwan.
I gained 10 kilos in a few months so 47 to 57 kilos. And one day, I realized I hurt my own body.
In 2019, I did some research on Google and social media, I started to do an intermittent fasting. I cut all carbs (no rice no pasta no bread), only detox water, fruits, veggies, fish, chicken.
I did it for a few months and sometimes workout but not regularly (abs, squats, light run). Finally, I lost 5 kilos (52 kilos) but I can feel my whole body was not on a good shape at all.
End of 2019, I moved to Taiwan and met Darren. In April 2020, I reached 55 kilos again. I talked to him about my goals and issue.
We discussed about habits and how to improve slowly, doing little by little every day without abandoning.
I wanted to try because Darren is very motivational. He can find the good in each person even if you don’t know yet you have this capacity.
In the beginning I was scared by the barrier of language since I’m not fluent in English. But Darren explains everything clearly and slowly.
I was also scared to not be able to stay consistent with time. But the program is very simple as long as we don’t quit and stay focus.
So in the beginning I started to run 5 to 10 mins time to time, then he shows me the Abs Ripper X video, a workout that I can do by myself at home.
Darren showed me how to track every single day what I need to do to keep a good system.
I always wanted to be healthy and fit, so my habits in the beginning were « workout, eat 1 fruit and 1 veggie every day ». Very simple easy and I feel good!
I realized that I can do it even if I feel sick or lazy. I can work out 15 min a day to keep it done.
Since I tracked it since April 2020, I can see all the green boxes [for daily habits completed] in my Google Sheet [Habit Tracker] and I feel proud of myself.

Now I’m addicted to it. I feel bad if I miss something so I want to do it. I can see huge change the past few months it’s incredible how my body change.
Darren showed me how to work out, I don’t need to think too much, keep it simple and easy so I can do it every day by myself, example 3 sets by 12 repetition exercises.
I also read the book the « 7 Habits of Highly Effective People » by Stephen Covey that teach me a lot on self development, thanks to Darren’s recommendation.
I feel more cultivate and self improve with all the videos he showed me.
Darren is very curious and ask a lot of questions related to your habits and personal lifestyle.
He recommends good books to read or videos to watch that suit each person’s need.
I feel heard, he followed up each week with our habits, what improve and what’s the new habits.
He is very patient and explain everything very clearly. He takes time to teach and answer to questions I had.
Today 2021, I feel good and happy, I lost weight (49 kilos) I am consistent, I workout every day and have many habits. I have a good system now.
Darren is the best. He is a good coach, very serious, good listener, pay attention to everything.
He teaches me a lot. Not only fitness part, but also how to build a powerful and strong mindset.
How to grow every day and become a better version of ourselves.
We all have the power to do what we want, we just don’t know how to do it.
But if you find the right person, he can show you the right way how to start.
He is very patient and explain everything very clearly. He takes time to teach and answer to questions I had.
