Consistency in Fitness Habit.

Prior to working with Darren, I always felt that I couldn’t stay focused with tasks on hand, lacked the motivation to start/finish things on my to-do list, and quite frankly, was looking for a fresh change in my life.

Right before I started this program, I was going through a major change in my life and was feeling extremely lost.

However, I knew that I was looking to improve qualities of my character and was blessed to find Darren and his expertise.  

I tried to do meditation by myself but had no structure in keeping it as a habit.

And every time I would try to start a new healthy habit, whether it was meditation, eating healthier, working out, or even learning Korean, I would have spurts of strong dedication followed by a quick burn out and complete loss of upholding the habit.

I even tried to purchase new items to fuel my interest in these habits I wanted to build, but ultimately, I still felt that there was no strong connection to wanting to fulfill these habits that could improve my life.

After realizing my attempts led to failure and wanting to improve my life, I reached out to Darren to figure out why I could not stay committed to habits.

Knowing his work ethic and thirst for knowledge, I knew Darren would have done a lot of research in habits and would be able to guide me in the right direction.

 

When I first started, I was worried that I would fall into another cycle of starting these habits and then eventually burning out.

It wasn’t the fact that I doubted Darren, but more so that I knew from my past history, I would fail miserably in staying motivated and driven to stay committed.

Although I was worried about failure, I put my trust into Darren and went into it with an open mind.

I think having that open mind and willingness to let my guard down to Darren as my coach helped open up my values and I was able to truly believe in the concepts in this program.

After these past 2.5 months, I can confidently say I am shocked I have been able to keep some of these habits which I had so much difficulty keeping before.

Not to flex but, I have worked out every single day and practiced my Korean almost every single day (which I’ve especially had difficulty practicing in the past).

Without getting into too much details about the program, I’ve seen some of my habits start to produce positive influences in other aspects of my life such as:

Concentration and Drive | With the lessons I’ve learned from Darren’s program, I now understand how to formulate habits and start projects, the ideology of how to build myself up for success in keeping habits, and how to apply that to my work.

I feel like I’ve gained not only lessons on habits, but how to become a better partner in my relationships and how to improve upon myself daily.

Quitting Smoking and Vaping | I smoked on and off for the past 6 years so being able to stop put down nicotine is something I am extremely proud of

Increased Self-Confidence | Not only do I value my own physique, my mental and social health has grown thanks to Darren’s coaching styles and the work I put in myself.

When I first started the sessions, I was intimidated only because I was not aware of how each session would go.

Knowing Darren as a friend previously, I didn’t know how he would be able to cater to my own needs, but going through this program has shown that he was able to modify and improvise on the spot with each session.

The flexibility and amount of dedication he put into each session made me feel like a VIP at each session that I looked forward to these meetings with him. 

After going through this program, I could see how much research and work Darren put into this program and myself as a client.

He is a great coach because he manifests the ideals himself!

I really appreciated how he spent the time to cater to my specific needs of where I needed the most help and he made each session educational but also funny and enjoyable.
